Here's what Donna told us:
I have been working with the Cameron Drill Press since I
made the 18th Century Corner Cupboard in 1998 in a class.
Soon after that, I bought my Cameron. I use it for both wood
and metal, anytime I need to drill an accurate hole, or in
scale miniatures it can also be used for routing and shaping
using cutter and router bits.
When making the 18th Century Corner Cupboard in the picture,
the Cameron Drill Press was used for routing, pin routing,
and mortising. We used hand made jigs to hold the small wood
for these procedures.
The map table is a reproduction of one I have at home. Any
holes needed were drilled using the Cameron Drill Press.
The wood and drawer in the picture are samples of dovetails
done on the Cameron Drill Press with a machined fixture
and a cutter.
Yes, that is a quarter in front of the drawer. Most of
my scale miniature work is done in 1/12 scale. One inch
equals one foot.
As you can see both my old and new Cameron Drill Presses
are ready to use. Having two will allow me to have different
setups on each one.
